THE JOURNEY INWARD - Upcoming Talks & Workshops
When the "mid-year sprint" or a demanding season makes your mental cup feel too full, you cannot always think your way back to calm. At Tulip Meadows, we believe in the "Art of Noticing"—a gentle, evidence-informed practice of finding restorative spaces exactly where you are. Instead of adding more to your to-do list, we invite you to put the list down and move from "thinking" into "sensing."
Through simple, 180-second resets of sight, sound, and touch, we help you rediscover your steady centre in the midst of the noise. These "sensory glimmers" are practical tools you can carry in your pocket, ready to clear the mental fog whenever you need a moment of ease. This is your invitation to pause, exhale, and find a meadow in the ordinary.
Date: 14th May 2026 (Thu)

In the midst of life’s many seasons, we often forget to pause and simply be. I invite you to join me for a gentle hour at the library—a space to soften the shoulders, quiet the mind, and rediscover the wonder in the everyday. Whether you are new to mindfulness or looking to deepen your practice, let’s nourish your 'internal garden' together with light movement and heartfelt gratitude.
MEMORIES FROM THE MEADOWS
A glimpse into the moments we've shared and the pathways we've explored together so far.
April 2026: Finding Stillness in the Storm
Our April circle featured a grounding dialogue on The Human Factor in Business Continuity with guest speaker Jeremy Tay. A 37-year veteran of Disaster Recovery, Data Centre Services, and Cybersecurity, Jeremy has spent decades safeguarding the high-stakes technical systems our modern world depends on.
While Business Continuity often focuses on technical "Plan Bs" and resilient systems, we looked deeper at the state of mind required to navigate a crisis. Jeremy shared how he maintains a steady heart under pressure, reminding us that our most critical system is the human one. Even when the storm hits, we can find our anchor through the power of a simple micropause.
Thank you to everyone who joined our circle. If you missed it, stay tuned for our weekly posts and monthly talks as we continue to sow seeds of mindfulness together.
This March, Tulip Meadows facilitated a powerful experiential workshop, "From Freeze to Focus," for university students.
The session was a successful "tag-team" between brain science and mindfulness. While my co-facilitator, Audrey, brought the neuroscience of procrastination to life, I led the somatic practices—using mindful movement and breath anchors to help students "thaw" the biological freeze response.
It was humbling to facilitate the personal sharing segments, where students opened up with sincere trust. Witnessing the shift from overwhelm to hope reminds us why we do this work. We are grateful to the institution for their genuine care in equipping students with these meaningful tools for resilience.

The Bridge and Bond Lab: Growing through the squeeze of parents and teens.
This immersive full-day workshop was designed for the 'sandwich generation'—those navigating the beautiful, often pressurized squeeze of caring for aging parents while raising adolescents. We spent the day building practical bridges of communication and strengthening the bonds that hold families together across generations. It was a profound day of shared stories and deep reflection, uncovering the growth that happens when we lean into the challenge of being the heart of the home.
May you find strength in the squeeze and grace in every connection.
Community Speaker Sessions:
I truly enjoy sharing 'seeds' of inspiration through my community talks, whether we are gathering in person or connecting across the digital space.
My recent sessions include:
Mindfulness for the Busy Brain: Practical Tools to Reclaim Focus (Online)
Supporting Educators' Well-being in Demanding Times (Online): A dedicated space for educators to find balance and resilience.
Mindfulness for Calm and Clarity in a Frantic World: A face-to-face workshop held at the Republic Polytechnic Wellness Fiesta.
Mindfulness Made Easy – Journey Inward to Grow Forward: Facilitated for the Youth Wing of a Resident Committee (RC).
These sessions offer practical tools to help individuals find their footing and inner quiet, no matter how frantic the world around them may feel.
May you find a moment of stillness in every conversation.
