On Friday, 26 June 2026, our Nurture Series anchored itself at the beautiful Harbourfront Public Library. While I was physically resting and recovering from being unwell, the heart of Tulip Meadows was fully present, carried beautifully by my wonderful co-facilitator, Miss MeeThoo.
Miss MeeThoo stepped into the circle and beautifully guided 12 wonderful participants—parents and children alike—through a morning of shared calm, play, and presence.
Gathering together in our opening circle at Harbourfront Public Library, slowing down our rhythms to meet each other in the present moment.
The room came alive with gentle interaction as families practiced breathing together and sharing moments of soft, intentional contact. It is deeply moving to see how naturally children can guide us back to the present moment when given the right space to do so.
Exploring a shared language of the heart through playful breathing practices and high-fives of mutual appreciation.
The morning ended with a quiet, beautiful surrender to rest, with parents and little ones lying down side-by-side, anchoring themselves in the safety of the space and each other's presence.
A quiet moment of deep rest, grounding, and co-regulation to close our practice.
A heartfelt thank you to the National Library Board (NLB) for their trusted coordination, to every parent and child who brought their open hearts to our circle, and a deeply grateful bow to Miss MeeThoo for holding the space so masterfully and tenderly.
We look forward to welcoming more families to our upcoming runs in July as we continue to nurture these small, meaningful moments together.
