This March, Tulip Meadows facilitated a powerful experiential workshop, "From Freeze to Focus," for university students.
The session was a successful "tag-team" between brain science and mindfulness. While my co-facilitator, Audrey, brought the neuroscience of procrastination to life, I led the somatic practices—using mindful movement and breath anchors to help students "thaw" the biological freeze response.
It was humbling to facilitate the personal sharing segments, where students opened up with sincere trust. Witnessing the shift from overwhelm to hope reminds us why we do this work. We are grateful to the institution for their genuine care in equipping students with these meaningful tools for resilience.
