The Heart That Appeared in My Coffee
This little heart showed up in my flat white last Friday —not my usual drink, but I kept it simple that day. The real magic wasn't in the coffee art though, it was in the company around the table. 🌈
I was meeting with some of my dearest friends, people who used to be my team members but have since become something FAR more precious. We've all moved on to different paths, yet here we were, carving time out of busy schedules just to be together. ❤️
As I stared at that perfectly formed heart, I realized it was the universe's gentle reminder: hearts connecting across time, distance, and career changes.
Here's what this taught me about mindful relationships:
The best workplace connections don't end when we leave—they transform into something deeper. When we're truly present with people, we create bonds that survive any transition.
A gentle reminder:
Who from your professional past would bring you joy to reconnect with? Sometimes the most meaningful conversations happen when we step away from our roles and simply show up as humans.
The heart in my coffee reminded me that love shows up everywhere—in foam art, in old friendships, in choosing connection over convenience.
Who are the work relationships that became life relationships you're most grateful for?
I'd love to hear your stories of friendship that transcended the workplace. Share in the comments or drop me a message—these always warm the heart.
At this point special shoutout to all my colleagues turned friends or family. Love yall to the moon and back .
May your cup overflow with both good coffee and great company. ☕💛
